It's over for Borders Books. Done. Finished. They are out of business. And in a lot of ways, it really doesn't surprise me. Every Borders that I ever went into was a complete disaster. And their staff? A bunch of not helpful hipsters is what I ran into more often than not. And this little snotty sign that some of them wrote and posted at a soon to be defunct store would seem to be indicative of just that. I don't know if Borders ever really stood a chance (what with the Kindle and the Nook and the entire World Wide Web to contend with), but when your hired help has this attitude, it isn't going to help much.
